At Same Same, we were built to be a beacon of true progression, not just within the hair industry but within our communities.
Our values are obvious, and our mission is blatant. We celebrate you as an individual and aim to show that through our art of hair.
Equality, Diversity and Sustainability and the three pillars the salon is built upon. We want to be great for the world as well as your hair. We are an LGBTQIA+ Safe Space, officially recognised as a Strands For Trans salon and are trained in all textures of hair and understand all hair types to be truly inclusive.
We recycle over 90% of all our waste and are always working on ways to eliminate the remaining percentage. We are aligned with Waste Free Salon Systems to ensure our waste is disposed correctly.
Our highly educated stylists are some of the best in the country, the list of award wins and nominations backs us up, but we aren’t full of the bullshit bravado. We love simply connecting with people who share our love for people, equality and the preservation of our planet.
We only align and partner ourselves with companies that share our values, so rest assured, every product, colour, lightener, even the candles we burn and the wine we serve are responsibly sustainable and share our commitments towards equality and diversity.
At Same Same But Different, we also believe it is important to acknowledge our traditional landowners, The Bunurong Boon Wurrung and Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Eastern Kulin Nation, and we pay respects to their Elders, past, present and emerging.
